Nancy Sharber

SafeHouse was originally established in 2009 by Michael Daddario. From its early beginnings, Nancy Sharber served as Operations Manager, overseeing daily field operations, project coordination, documentation, and quality control for more than a decade. Her leadership helped shape the company's reputation for disciplined processes, responsible remediation practices, and client-focused service.
In 2010, SafeHouse was awarded a contract supporting a research grant in coordination with Health and Human Services. That work marked the beginning of SafeHouse's focused, health-centered response to mold and water-related conditions — grounded in science, documentation, and the protection of occupants rather than surface-level cleanup.
That same year, Nancy attended state-sponsored education programs in the State of Florida focused on mold assessment, testing, and remediation. During her time in Florida, she acquired her state licensure as both a Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator and became council certified by a body of her professional peers. This distinction places her among a very limited number of professionals actively working in Ohio who hold formal mold licensure from a regulated state.
Following Michael Daddario's passing in 2023, Nancy formally founded SafeHouse IES with the intent of expanding the original mission into a fully integrated service model. SafeHouse IES was designed to provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that eliminate confusion for property owners while maintaining strict adherence to recognized professional standards.
Today, SafeHouse IES delivers coordinated services including environmental assessment, mold remediation, emergency water mitigation response, restoration, repairs, and renovation services. Work is performed in alignment with applicable ANSI consensus standards, including ANSI/IICRC S500 (Water Damage Restoration) and ANSI/IICRC S520 (Professional Mold Remediation), as well as EPA guidance, NADCA principles where HVAC systems are involved, and responsible industry best practices.
This standards-based, health-focused foundation is what differentiates SafeHouse IES from companies that simply clean up mold. The SafeHouse team is committed to identifying moisture sources, correcting contributing conditions, and ensuring problems are fully resolved — not temporarily masked — so clients can confidently return to safe, healthy spaces.
Nancy is known for her calm, authoritative leadership style, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to doing things the right way. She continues her professional education through PMII and other advanced training programs to stay current with evolving science, standards, and methodologies related to mold, water damage, and environmental health.
Under her leadership, SafeHouse IES works closely with homeowners, real estate professionals, property managers, and insurance carriers to provide clarity, documentation, and confidence throughout the recovery process. Nancy believes that no concern is too small, and she is always willing to answer environmental questions — particularly for individuals under the care of functional medicine practitioners or those managing autoimmune conditions who have concerns related to mold exposure.
At its core, SafeHouse IES reflects Nancy's belief that every client deserves transparency and respect — before, during, and after the work is complete.

Throughout his career, Mike has managed restoration projects for ServiceMaster and Rainbow Restoration, and spent nine years with BELFOR, where he held senior leadership roles overseeing high-volume, high-complexity loss projects.
